Each member of the Elm City Girls' Choir will be assigned a leadership position as a Teaching Assistant (T.A.) for a UGC ensemble and will attend all rehearsals and performances of that ensemble as well as all rehearsals and performances of ECGC. Serving as a Teaching Assistant is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence and develop leadership skills through mentoring and role modeling, and it is an important part of the ECGC experience.

On your registration form, you will be asked to indicate your preferred (first choice) leadership assignment. Every effort will be made to honor your request, and you will be notified of your leadership assignment prior to the first rehearsal.

The options for the 2023-2024 season are as follows:

•UGC Branford (Thursdays from 4:00pm - 5:30pm)

•UGC Bridgeport (Mondays from 3:45pm - 5:15pm)

•UGC North Haven on Tuesdays from 4:00pm - 6:30pm (the last 30 minutes of this timeframe will typically overlap and/or combine with ECGC's regular rehearsal)
